Basingstoke boasts a bonanza of talent at variety show for Mayor’s charities
The Basingstoke Variety Show 2011 was held at The Anvil held to raise money for the Mayor's Charity Appeal on behalf of Samaritans (Basingstoke), RadCan (which supports Basingstoke & North Hampshire Hospital to provide radiation therapy) and the Basingstoke & District Disability Forum.
Produced by Ian Aherne and hosted by Kestrel FM Breakfast Show presenter Pete Denton, the Basingstoke Variety Show 2011 offered a tremendous array of talent from the very young Cubs of the Basingstoke Wolverines cheerleaders to the Basingstoke Male Voice Choir, formed in 1964.
